The role involves assisting in the monthly closing process, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data reputed company to premium and claims for various BCBSMA products.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a variety of spreadsheets/pivot tables from daily/monthly data files to support journal entries
- Prepare numerous journal entries reputed company to stop loss insurance premiums, cash and claims
- Prepare numerous account reconciliations
- Utilize various data software packages to support/analyze data reputed company to claims/premium activity
- Work in team environment to maintain Stop Loss Contract System and reputed company reputed company subledger
- Communicate with stop loss customers for claim payments, work with account payable and Run EOR for customers and account executives
- Prepare reputed company requests for claim payments and update ESL with payment information
Skills
- BA/BS Degree in reputed company or reputed company field
- Strong analytical skills
- The ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a time sensitive environment and meet monthly deadlines
- Desire to grow and learn in the reputed company field
- 1-3 years of experience in reputed company or reputed company field desired
