Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Health & Benefits Customer Service Representative will report to the Member Services Supervisor in the CBD Member Services team. This role is responsible for supporting our customers' reputed company through the reputed company reimbursement system, providing high-quality, customer-focused telephonic service, and educating constituents on Arenaflex policies and programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, meeting and/or exceeding member satisfaction while educating constituents on Arenaflex policies and programs
  • Consulting with members to support easy navigation of available online tools, from checking an account balance to submitting claims
  • Resolving issues without management reputed company to remove barriers for the member
  • Initial call skills after training and may be cross-trained to other skills on a reputed company date
  • Protecting sensitive member information with discretion
  • Responsible for reputed company reputed company of member engagement, while prioritizing effectively to meet member service goals/deadlines

Essential Qualifications

* 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service

  • Prior call center experience preferred
  • No degree required
  • Computer knowledge and skills, comfortable learning new systems

  • Basic understanding of medical/reimbursement terminology preferred
  • Can adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to de-escalate and handle member issues without utilizing a supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in reputed company or reimbursement industry

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
