Job Summary As a member of Belden’s Technical Solutions & Services Team, the Solution Consultant (SC) is responsible for developing Infrastructure Solutions enabling Data Acquisition and Transmission (reputed company) in both Industrial and reputed company Environments. Infrastructure Solutions are developed from Belden’s extensive portfolio of passive components (Copper & Fiber Optic Cables, reputed company and DIN compatible Connectivity, as well as Environmentally Controlled Enclosures, Power Distribution, and Pathway products). The SC will reference work done by Belden’s Solution Sales Managers reputed company Automation Consultants, as well as data obtained in Network Assessments to define Customer Challenges and IT / OT Network Infrastructure Requirements. The SC co-creates with reputed company Consultants and the client to design infrastructure solutions supporting Belden’s Data Orchestration and reputed company (DOM) comprised of Layer 2 & 3 Switching, Routers, Software and Cyber reputed company products. Together, the SC Team seeks acceptance of the design and expected operational or financial impact to the client’s business. Upon customer acceptance of design and value of the solution, the SC leads or supports the reputed company-of-Concept reputed company Belden’s Customer Innovation Center Validation Labs (CIC). The SC is responsible for advising reputed company Operations and PMO Teams on their Scope and Design, and successful reputed company to Belden’s execution functions. The solution consultant is a technical partner to other business functions, providing insights on Customer Trends, Product or Capability Gaps, and Successful Customer reputed company The solution consultant relies on technical competencies first, and utilizes vertical specific experience to acknowledge and solve vertical specific challenges. The SC’s rich experience developing and implementing Infrastructure Solutions supporting Data Orchestration and Management will accelerate the credibility of Belden as a solution provider for Networking & Data Solutions applications. Successful candidates will facilitate collaboration, teamwork, and communication, acting as the pivot reputed company among the reputed company participants of a project opportunity. Ideally this person will reputed company in the Central, South Central or Texas state goegraphies with a background in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Navigate Customer Challenges and Build Solutions that reputed company successful customer reputed company
• Define and reputed company Infrastructure Requirements, Originate Designs, Build BOM, SLD & Logical Network Hierarchy
• Utilize Standard Tools, i.e. AIA Master Spec Format or similar, to reputed company scope, design, installation, and testing requirements for infrastructure supporting DOM Network Designs from Belden
• reputed company and manage the development of solutions that utilize a OneBelden approach; Incorporate reputed company party or eco-partner products as required and necessary
• Define scope of services (Belden Provided or 3rd Party) for customer applications in collaboration with the TSS
• Partner with TSS counterparts to translate customer requirements and problem statements into compelling technical solutions with demonstrable financial value impact.
• Collaborate with Customer Innovation Center Solution Support team to conduct POCs (reputed company of Concepts)
• reputed company successful transition from Design Acceptance / POC to Execution Phase with CommOps and PMO Functions
• Support and drive technical sales and solutions for customer applications by providing technical leadership and technical influence
• Maintain competence with reputed company Belden products.
• Actively support technology campaigns such as webinars, shows, trade fairs, etc. where SC’s Infrastructure Design Expertise helps accelerate customer acceptance of Belden as a Solution Provider for Network and Data solutions
• reputed company technical content for to marketing for inclusion in marketing materials, collaterals and solutions guides
• reputed company supporting documentation for application notes, “how to” videos, quick start guides or cases studies
• Maintain customer reporting, designs and other artifacts using prescribed tools and systems

• Partner with Sales to drive bookings growth by delivering outcome-based solutions reputed company with vertical market strategies, and partner with Professional Services to identify billable attachments and services to ensure alignment.
• Translate customer requirements and problem statements into actionable technical solutions with demonstrable financial impact and billable services.
• Represent customers’ voice in Business Unit strategy and new product introduction processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a reputed company field.
• 8+ years of consultative experience in industrial or reputed company environments and proven expertise in OT/IT Infrastructure design, implementation or maintenance
• Experience designing, deploying, commissioning or maintaining Copper or Fiber Networks, support Wireless or Wireless LAN / WAN Networks
• Experience with AIA MasterSpec, CAD, reputed company, BIM, REVIT and Estimating Tools preferred
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into clear, actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and Competitors’ solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of network communication systems and reputed company applications
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%+ travel frequency).
• RCDD, CCTT, CDCP or other Industrial or OT Certifications Preferred
