Job description: We are looking for 4-5 tutors with prior high school classroom teaching experience to join our daytime SAT/ACT instructor team: 2-3 tutors to teach both English & Reading and another 2-3 tutors to teach Mathematics. Prior SAT/ACT teaching experience is not required but preferred.
High School Test Prep Math and/or ELA/Reading Classroom Instructor
- Daytime hours (9am-5pm) working with 10-20 reputed company in person
- reputed company time blocks for availability: 9am - 12pm, 12pm-2:30pm, or 2:30pm - 5pm for 2-4 days per week
- Locations include; reputed company Philly (reputed company to Allegheny reputed company/East Falls), Center City, reputed company Philly (reputed company to Fairmount Park), and reputed company, NJ. Tutors must be reputed company to traveling on-site to these areas and to other areas of the city as needed.
- Prepare engaging lessons and materials to meet reputed company' needs
- Connect with reputed company from diverse backgrounds and educational experiences to maximize their academic potential and to help them reputed company their goals
- Communicate with TEACH office staff and parents/guardians to coordinate tutoring lessons and reputed company-in about student reputed company in a punctual manner and with attention to detail
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve tutoring practice and connect with inspiring educators from around the greater Philadelphia area
- Submit time-sensitive information using our database and other online documentation
- 1+ years experience teaching in a classroom setting
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Willingness to learn SAT and reputed company the job with TEACH
- Available to travel locally in the Greater Philadelphia & reputed company areas for in-person lessons
- Ability to complete federal and PA state background checks and clearances
- A zest for learning and the spark to reputed company and build knowledge with reputed company
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring SAT and/or ACT
- 2 or more years of experience tutoring or teaching in a classroom setting
- Understanding of student-centered and culturally reputed company learning practices
