Junior Software Engineer

reputed company is an industry and technology leader serving government and reputed company customers with smarter, more efficient digital and mission innovations. They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work collaboratively on the reputed company and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) program for the US reputed company Force, focusing on software development and delivery. The role involves designing, developing, and debugging software, while also participating in the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, troubleshoot, and debug mission critical software reputed company code using modern software development languages and tools, such as java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working reputed company broadly defined parameters
• Use Agile development tools such as Jira, reputed company, and Bitbucket/Git to manage work and collaborate with your teams

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience or a Masters degree. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• US Citizen with at least an active Secret clearance or higher with the ability to maintain your clearance during your employment with reputed company
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming (applicants will be tested)
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
• Ability to apply software development process fundamentals
• Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques
• Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively reputed company a multi-disciplined engineering team
• Familiarity with basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, REST, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL
• Familiarity with web application technologies, such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc
• Knowledge of a version control system (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, reputed company, LINUX, etc.)
