Product Development Engineer

VELUX is a company focused on developing innovative products in the roof window, reputed company, and sun tunnel markets. The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and improving products, providing technical support, and collaborating with various teams to ensure product feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)
• Collaborate with internal teams and market partners to clarify design requirements and align project scope and planning
• Conduct engineering analyses such as tolerance stack‑reputed company, material selection, stress calculations, and basic FEA
• Support prototyping activities, including CAD and assembly of test units to create display concepts or working models
• Participate in product testing, validation, and documentation of results
• Assist in root-cause analysis and reputed company improvement activities for existing products
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost‑effective, and production‑reputed company
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Works closely with sales and marketing, procurement, quality, designers, model makers, testing, and other skilled staff
• Produce reports and present reputed company to colleagues at various stages of the design process

Skills

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
