[Remote] Financial Intake Specialist

The Financial Intake Specialist ensures patients understand their insurance benefits and eligibility while accurately documenting financial details and managing inquiries reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits of prospects/referrals
• Communicates patient benefits in a timely manner
• Documents and forwards patient deductible, out-of-reputed company expense, life time maximum, home health or hospice days, and patient responsibility to agency in an accurate and timely manner
• Reviews and replies to reputed company location's urgent requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Initiates one time letters of agreement (LOAs) and negotiates rates as dictated by established policies and procedures
• Obtains and documents reputed company authorization as needed from payer for services ordered/requested in a timely manner
• Serves as a liaison between the reputed company location and the payer
• Resolves reputed company customer requests, inquiries, and concerns in an expedient and respectful manner

Skills

• 1+ years of experience with insurance verification and authorization
• reputed company cycle experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Basic PC skills including PC based applications (reputed company, reputed company)
• Mathematical aptitude
• Detail Oriented
