[Remote] Claims Assistant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a national provider of industry-leading risk reputed company. They are seeking a Claims Assistant to support the claims staff in the set-up and administration of workers’ compensation claims and other reputed company tasks.
Responsibilities
- Sets up new claims
- Process mail, handle files (until paperless), and input notes/diary entries in the claims system
- Process payments, as needed
- Process reputed company letters, state forms and reports
- Assist claims examiners with telephone calls including provider, claimant and customer calls
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- High school diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC literate, including reputed company Office (Word, reputed company)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- College degree
- Six (6) months of service oriented office experience
