[Remote] Account Coordinator, Public Relations

As an Account Coordinator, you will support the account team in servicing travel and tourism clients by executing essential elements of PR campaigns and ensuring high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, and newsletters
- Create and maintain accurate media lists, handle routine inquiries, and reputed company developing relationships with external audiences to convey our clients' messages
- Conduct basic research into client industries to stay reputed company; monitor media coverage and report on trends or news affecting our clients' business
- Help coordinate specific events and promotions under the guidance of a supervisor
- Manage the 'nitty-gritty' of account service, including billing assistance, activity reports, and the preparation/distribution of publications
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively under pressure
- A knack for working with detailed information and a high level of computer literacy
- A basic understanding of public relations principles and a genuine interest in the tourism/travel industry
- A collaborative reputed company and the interpersonal skills needed to work with internal departments and external vendors
- Ideally, you have completed a PR/Marketing internship or have up to one year of agency experience
