[Remote] Actuarial Analyst I
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Actuarial Analyst I to support the pricing of new and renewal business while gaining exposure to basic ratemaking and insurance concepts. The role involves performing actuarial analysis, supporting underwriters on pricing reputed company, and assisting with various actuarial projects.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply reputed company actuarial principles and apply reputed company analyzing company and industry data to prepare for pricing analysis
- Support rating administration and stat coding on the policy administration system
- Support the annual profitability review process
- Support the review of portfolios’ historical financial performance
- Assist with preparation of reputed company and actuarial memorandums to support reputed company filing
- Support experience and reputed company indication studies to assess reputed company adequacy
- Support improvement efforts in order to increase consistency, efficiency, and compliance with internal standards
- Assist with the development reputed company rating tools and engines
- Other special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics or reputed company field
- 0-2 years of reputed company reputed company property & casualty experience
- Proficient in reputed company products: Word, reputed company, Outlook, Power reputed company, SQL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be agile and reputed company in a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrate an reputed company-minded, team oriented and collaborative work style
- Two CAS exams preferred
- Knowledge of reputed company, R, and data visualization software a plus
