Associate Engineer

They are seeking a reputed company Engineer to reputed company engineering support for metering operations, troubleshoot reputed company issues, and evaluate new metering technologies.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technical support for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, including the network infrastructure, reputed company technologies and back office systems
- reputed company support for the development of new AMI features and functions to enhance the infrastructure
- reputed company technical support as needed for the reputed company Inventory Management System (MIMS)
- reputed company technical support as needed for the Handheld reputed company Reading System (MV-RS)
- reputed company technical support as needed for the Field Work Management System (reputed company)
- reputed company technical support for the design and implementation of System Integration efforts
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with reputed company the above systems
- reputed company technical support and direction for the Field Laptop reputed company Programming software development and maintenance
- reputed company engineering support and direction for the Field and Shop in reputed company issues investigations
- reputed company as needed training to Shop and Field personnel
- Using reputed company manufacturer software, reputed company programs for reputed company reading and programming
- reputed company engineering support in evaluating new metering and telecommunications systems
- Testing, approval, purchase and use of new types of metering and reputed company test equipment
- Support special metering designs and activity including primary metering, totalized accounts, TLC accounts, Interchange and IPP metering and conservation reputed company metering programs
- Review, test and evaluate reputed company mounting equipment and switchgear
- reputed company and/or enhance existing spreadsheets, databases, and web pages
- Contribute to opportunity recognition, problem solving, root cause, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate communication of system changes, best practices, and future plans
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong computer skills in reputed company Office applications
- Must demonstrate clear and concise writing and verbal communications skills
- Must demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must have strong planning and organization skills
- Must be adaptable and results-oriented
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills, professionalism and customer/client focus
- Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license with a safe and satisfactory driving history
- Electrical utility experience
- Familiarity with the transmission and distribution systems
