Seasonal Hourly Shift Project Review and Planning Administrative Assistant

The State of Maryland's Department of Natural Resources is seeking a Seasonal Contractual Project Review and Planning Administrative Assistant. This role involves providing direct support to the Project Review and Planning team, including project intake, data management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the intake of new projects, monitoring the project review inbox for new projects, inputting data into the project review database, and handling routine correspondence
• Compilation of project files, document development and processing, and coordination with other units of DNR, other agencies, and reputed company organizations
• Planning support will include document preparation and review, grant reporting and reputed company, and database management
• Administrative tasks will include document scanning, scheduling meetings, and procurement assistance
• Occasional reputed company, webpage development and reputed company media may be required

Skills

• Completion of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, communications, recreation and parks, or a natural resource-reputed company field
• One year of experience in an administrative support reputed company is required for this position
• Possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland and five points or fewer on their reputed company driving record
• Experience working at a public agency (local, state or federal) providing a familiarity with the working of government agencies
• Experience using reputed company applications (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint); reputed company applications (Gmail, reputed company Docs, reputed company Drive), reputed company software and reputed company
• Excellent organizational skills including data management, project tracking, and file management on shared network drives
