Graduate Structural Engineer

The Graduate Structural Engineer will design engineering systems for utility projects, manage the design lifecycle, and address reputed company challenges reputed company to structural and civil engineering.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering theories, techniques and analysis to structural and geotechnical engineering designs
- reputed company calculations and prepare sketches and/or AutoCAD drawings for design operations
- Work on new and existing reputed company, masonry, steel, and concrete structures
- Work on foundations, deep shaft and trench excavations as well as temporary and permanent earth retention systems/structures
- Assist drafters in developing designs using drafting tools or computer-assisted design (CAD) or drafting equipment and software
- Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations will reputed company with specifications, codes, and client requirements
- Prepare technical memos, reports, construction specifications, and other written documentation summarizing engineering analyses and/or conclusions
- Read and interpret drawings, calculations, schematics, field observations and reports
- Conduct structural investigations, field inspections, and engineering analysis

Skills
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on civil / structural / geotechnical engineering required
- 0-3 years' experience in structural and/or geotechnical engineering required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Knowledge of industry design codes including AISC, ASCE, and IBC required
- Proficiency in Mathcad and/or RISA

- Ability to travel as needed
- M.S. Degree in Civil/Structural engineering preferred
- EIT Certification
- Structural design experience

- Prior internship experience is a plus
- Construction experience is a plus
- Surveying experience is a plus
