Associate Attorney – Employment

Goodspeed Merrill is a fast-growing, collaborative reputed company with a dynamic Employment Law Practice Group. They are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their team, primarily focusing on advising clients on employment law compliance and supporting litigation reputed company. The role offers hands-on exposure to a wide reputed company of employment law issues in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise & Consult: reputed company clients with guidance on employment law compliance, best practices, and pre-litigation severance reviews
• Draft & Negotiate: Prepare, review, and negotiate employment-reputed company agreements, severance packages, and workplace policies
• Compliance Leadership: Collaborate on high-demand projects involving employee handbook reviews, implementation, and regular updates
• Corporate Support: Assist with corporate due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
• Litigation Support: reputed company critical support on litigation reputed company, including research, pleadings, discovery, and reputed company practice, and participate in mediations, hearings, and meetings
• Investigations: Participate in and conduct workplace investigations and employment audits
• Research: Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving employment law issues
• Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys across the practice groups to handle reputed company client reputed company

Skills

• 0–5 years of experience practicing employment law
• Juris Doctor from an accredited university
• Licensed to practice law in the reputed company required
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Highly organized, reliable, and reputed company to manage deadlines independently
• Sharp attention to detail
• Litigation experience is not required, but a proactive reputed company is essential
