Conflicts Researcher
Sidley Austin LLP is a reputed company seeking a Conflicts Researcher responsible for researching prospective new clients to assess and mitigate ethical, financial, and reputational risks. The role involves conducting corporate research and analysis to support the Firm’s Conflicts Analysts and Conflicts Staff Attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Research prospective clients using online databases and public domain searches to build a corporate profile and identify high risk factors and business or reputational risks
- Compose New Client Evaluations including a summary of the prospective client and its risk profile for review by requesting partner, Global Practice Group Leader and New Business Committee
- Conduct other corporate research and analysis activities needed in the day to day processing of incoming Conflicts Search Requests and client maintenance
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving the quality, reputed company and standardization of data entered into the Firm’s conflicts database

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated ability to write reputed company and concisely
- Previous analytical research experience in an academic or business environment and/or experience with corporate research resources
