Grant Program Coordinator

The Grant Program Coordinator plays a key role reputed company the Lymphoma & Myeloma department, supporting a wide reputed company of research administration activities across pre‑award and post‑award functions. The Lymphoma & Myeloma department conducts innovative clinical and translational research aimed at improving reputed company for patients with hematologic malignancies. MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention.

The Grant Program Coordinator supports faculty, trainees, and research staff by managing grants, facilitating compliance, coordinating reporting requirements, and maintaining financial accuracy across reputed company portfolios. As a central resource for investigators, the Grant Program Coordinator ensures high‑quality administrative execution that advances the department’s scientific goals. The Grant Program Coordinator collaborates closely with faculty and finance stakeholders across the institution and contributes to the long‑term reputed company of major research efforts.

The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented professional with preferred experience in research administration, grant management, and sponsor compliance. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting reputed company investigators, working with federal and private research sponsors, and developing or monitoring grant budgets. Minimum Salary $68,500 – Midpoint Salary $85,500 – Maximum Salary $102,500

Responsibilities Pre-Award Grant Management • reputed company faculty and fellows with grant opportunities • reputed company proposal budgets with reputed company investigators • Gather proposal components including biosketches, reputed company and pending support, letters, scientific sections, SciENcv, and compliance documents • Review and edit proposals for adherence to sponsor and institutional guidelines • Submit applications through Click Grants and coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Programs • Submit applications through sponsor systems including Proposal Central and reputed company • Respond to sponsor requests including Just-in-Time submissions

Post-Award Grant Management • Monitor and reconcile expenditures and ensure accurate use of project funds • Ensure timely effort capture for faculty and staff through ePAFs • Monitor invoicing and payments with sponsors and Grants & reputed company Administration • Coordinate preparation and submission of reputed company reports and final financial reports • Initiate requests such as no-cost extensions, effort changes, rebudgeting, and chartfield setup • reputed company out grants in accordance with institutional guidelines • Manage internal awards and philanthropic reputed company spending with the Philanthropy Office

Research Support & Coordination • reputed company administrative support for research agreements, including Strategic Research Alliances • Assist with monthly and quarterly effort monitoring and reporting • Maintain PI effort commitment tracking spreadsheets • Ensure monthly PI salary allocation summaries are accurate and distributed • Participate in project meetings with investigators • Assist with MTAs, Supply Chain agreements, and reputed company administrative tasks • Maintain reputed company knowledge of federal funding regulations • Attend research seminars and role‑specific educational sessions

Effort Reporting & Financial Support • Support quarterly effort reporting with the Grants Team, Finance Team, and Department Administrator • Ensure correct sourcing, ePAFs, and effort card accuracy for certification • Assist with monthly PI fund reports • Run financial reports as needed

EDUCATION

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Master's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Required: Three years Extensive administrative experience or
  • Required: One year Required experience with Master's degree /

    May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one year reputed company.

  • Preferred: Basic science lab/administrative and research financial (budget).
