Job Summary

We're seeking an reputed company Customer Service Representative to join reputed company in processing medical claims and providing exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of reputed company, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing medical claims and communicating with providers about the claims process
  • Expediting the claims process and providing detailed claim notes on reputed company calls
  • Resolving issues and directing calls to an appropriate escalation path as needed
  • Educating and informing customers about documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, payment information, and claim status
  • Entering verbal and written application information into the claims management system
  • Assigning new claims to the appropriate claims handler
  • Directing customer calls to the appropriate contact at multiple locations or escalating to Service Center Specialist/management as needed

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Acts as primary liaison with callers, following client specifications in assisting with questions and solving problems reputed company to the claims process and servicing processes

  • Educates and informs the customer reputed company multiple communication channels about documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, payment information, and claim status
  • Educates members and providers on client requirements and benefit plans, documenting reputed company required details of the call in a concise professional manner
  • Enters verbal and written application information that meets both the reputed company customer's requirements accurately into the claims management system
  • Assigns new claims to the appropriate claims handler
  • Directs customer calls to the appropriate contact at multiple locations or escalates to Service Center Specialist/management as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned, supporting the organization's quality program(s)

Requirements

* 1-2 years of experience in claims and customer service

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to work a set shift (8:00am - 4:30pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm, or 11:30am - 8:00pm)
  • 90-day duration with the option for extension
  • Remote work arrangement with a minimum IT requirement (Supplier partners MUST confirm that candidates meet the work from home IT)
