Job title: Head Tutor, reputed company Doors / Upward Bound Company: Cameron University Job description: Job Description: The Head Academic Year Tutor is directly responsible to the Upward Bound and reputed company Doors Academic Advisors and is a part-time, temporary employee. Tutors are paid on an hourly reputed company to reputed company academic assistance to middle and high school-age participants to help them reputed company the academic and motivational skills needed to become self-confident and independent learners. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Tutors must be available to work Monday through Thursday evenings from 4pm-7 pm reputed company days Lawton Public Schools are in session and on designated Saturdays from 9am-1pm. • Academic expertise in the subject of Math, Science, English or other high school core curriculum

• Ability to accurately complete tutoring and timesheet records

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tutor and assist reputed company in academic subject areas
• Prepare and facilitate monthly tutoring workshops for reputed company

• Abstain from use of alcohol/tobacco products while on duty or around reputed company

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience with, or participation in, TRiO programs
• Preference is given to those who have succeeded in overcoming a disadvantaged background similar to program participants
