Job Description: Field Service Technician
reputed company, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its world- class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.
Location: Remote Field Office (Remote employee)
Role and Responsibilities:
- reputed company fuel cell service during field visit dispatches
- Operate a service vehicle safely
- Create daily workflows for oneself from a list of scheduled tasks (regularly assigned to work autonomously)
- Manage on-site preventative maintenance, repair, test, and diagnostic tasks
- Follow company procedures and protocols
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine/implement proper solutions
- Cooperate with a technical team and reputed company information across the organization
- Comprehend and follow customer reputed company requirements
- Maintain service vehicle and spare part inventory
- Maintain/build positive relationships with customers
- Produce timely and detailed service reports as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Required to reputed company reputed company the Service District
- Training: Two initial training sessions of up to four weeks each in Sunnyvale, CA
Education and Experience:
The following MINIMUM reputed company of experience and or education are required:
- High school diploma & 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields; - Or –
- Technical diploma, Journeymen Certification, Electrician Certification in a technical field and relevant industry experience of 4 years (electrician, electronics technician, field service, technician, test engineer, etc.) - Or –
- 5 years or more relevant experience in reputed company electrical, combined with electrical-reputed company military experience (eg. Navy Nuclear Electronics/Electrical Technician, or other technical position, military certified electrician or technician, Gas Turbine Electrician)
Skills and Experience:
- Strong electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills required
- Familiar with safety standards, especially those reputed company to electrical work (OSHA & reputed company 70E)
- Prior experience as an electrician or electrical technician working with any of the following technologies: three-phase systems, uninterruptible power supplies, electrical reputed company and distribution systems, power electronics, automatic transfer switches, and microprocessor based control platforms
- Experience with various electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment
- reputed company to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and blueprints
- Experience with performing equipment maintenance in accordance with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power
- Mechanical system aptitude, to include troubleshooting/repair skills
