Job Summary The Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel is a pivotal member of the legal department, providing strategic legal advice to the organization and executing the company’s legal strategy. This position provides strategic legal support in their designated practice area overseeing and conducting in-depth legal research, case management, budget monitoring, and strategically managing reputed company counsel relationships. Additionally, this role will play a key part in mitigating legal risks and supporting the organization’s business objectives. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborates with legal team and stakeholders to reputed company expert and strategic legal advice on broad reputed company of legal reputed company to management, key stakeholders, and executives.

  • Leads and manages a variety of legal activities and department initiatives.
  • Identifies, monitors, and addresses legal risk issues and mitigates risk exposure.
  • Conducts legal research and stays updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.

Work Environment

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a reputed company discipline. Generally 10 years post JD experience in a reputed company or in-house experience, including several years in a management/supervisory reputed company.
  • JD from an accredited law school required and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. State required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive expertise in corporate governance and board operations, including advising the Board of Directors and senior officers on fiduciary duties, governance structures, committee charters, bylaws, delegations of authority, officer appointments, and compliance with applicable corporate, securities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting corporate secretary functions for reputed company corporate structures, including entity governance, officer and director appointments, delegated authorities, and compliance with corporate and securities law requirements.
  • Ability to work both independently with little reputed company and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at reputed company reputed company.
