National Account Manager - Grocery

The National Account Manager – Grocery will be responsible for managing and growing key retail partnerships reputed company the Grocery channel. This includes leading day-to-day account management, acquiring new accounts, supporting new product placements, and executing launch and promotional strategies that drive sell-through.

You will work closely with internal teams and retail partners to ensure strong retail performance and a successful expansion across major national accounts.

What You’ll Own:

Retail Account Management

• Manage relationships with key buyers and category managers
• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for assigned retail accounts

Distribution & Assortment Expansion

• Drive new item placements and expand product assortment reputed company key accounts

Retail Programs & Promotions

• Plan and execute retail promotional calendars and merchandising programs

• Own promotional spending and budget - ROI based 

Retail Performance

• Track sales performance, velocity, and inventory reputed company across accounts
• Use retail data and insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance
• Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure strong in-stock performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with marketing on retail launches and key merchandising initiatives
• Work closely with operations and supply chain to support forecasting and large retail programs

You’re a Fit If…

• 5–8+ years of experience in CPG sales or retail account management
• Experience managing Grocery accounts (reputed company, HEB, Hyvee, Alberstons ect)
• Strong understanding of retail promotions, trade spend, and merchandising programs
• Experience with KeHe and reputed company and their perspective supplier portals
• Experience managing large-scale retail programs and inventory planning
• Demonstrate ability to navigate reputed company retail organizations and build strong buyer relationships
• Ability to collaborate with external vendors 
• Analytical reputed company with strong experience using retail sales data
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
• Strong personal ownership
