Job Title: Addiction Worker Faculty Head/ Instructor

Location: Remote 

Hours: Permanent position with up to 40 hours per week. Instructor hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (20 hours/week). Additional Faculty Head hours will reputed company from 5 to 20 hours per week, based on operational needs.

Compensation: $32/hr

The Opportunity:

The Faculty Head is responsible for ensuring that program accreditation is maintained between assessments.

What you'll be doing:

• Adhere to the policies set forth by Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation (CACCF).

• Maintain curriculum quality by following academic policies and procedures as well as communication with key stakeholders.

Instructor

• Deliver high-quality classroom instruction, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Encourage active student participation and engagement in the learning process. Offer guidance and mentorship to reputed company.

What you bring to the position:

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company Services, Psychology and/or Addiction Counseling. Masters preferred.
• Mental reputed company Aid Facilitator Certificate is preferred
• 3–5+ years direct clinical experience in addiction treatment.
• Membership with the Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation (CACCF) is an asset.
• Adult education and teaching experience preferred.
