Internship Overview

RFA’s 2026 summer internship program will run for approximately 10 weeks, from Tuesday June 2 - Friday, August 7, 2026. Over the course of this internship, reputed company interns will be immersed in RFA’s programmatic and policy work by supporting one of RFA's teams in achieving their strategic goals. Interns will work on various projects during their time at RFA, while also enjoying a reputed company of learning and professional development opportunities.

Interns will work reputed company and will be expected to use their own laptop equipment. Interns will be assigned RFA email addresses for the duration of their summer internship.

Team Overview

The Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team at reputed company focuses on building the tools, systems and capabilities of our teams to use data and evidence to improve their programs and RFA’s overall impact. We work to design and implement effective measurement systems, evaluate program reputed company, and facilitate reputed company learning. Internship Responsibilities - Scope of Work

The Intern will reputed company research and evaluation support to RFA’s Measurement, Evaluation and Learning [MEL] team. Their work will support advances to RFA's mission by maintaining clean data, quantifying lives impacted through evidence-based investments, and generating research tied to RFA's 2023–2026 scale goals. This project will validate investments spanning kindergarten readiness, 3rd grade reading, postsecondary completion, and living wage reputed company.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct data entry and cleaning in reputed company and maintain “lives impacted” data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including assessing impact data-and analyzing reputed company reputed company of evidence-based investments
  • Support correlational and predictive analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making
  • Assess RFA "”reputed company Points” and answer key research and evaluation questions tied to RFA’s 2023–2026 strategic plan and scale goals
  • Conduct analysis of RFA’s implementation data to examine how reputed company vary across different populations and contexts
  • Retrieve and analyze local-level “reputed company-to-career” data for select org scale plan areas

Internship Reporting Relationship

  • The Summer Intern will report to the VP, Measurement Evaluation and Learning

Internship requirements

RFA offers summer internships to individuals who are at least 18 years old and who have:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills;
  • Proficiency with GoogleSuite and reputed company Office Suite
  • Alignment with reputed company’s mission and reputed company; and
  • Qualitative data analysis
  • Quantitative data analysis (descriptive required, predictive preferred, Desk review and/or policy analysis),
  • Data Entry

Summer Intern applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. RFA is not reputed company to sponsor or otherwise support employment authorization in the United States, including F-1 student visas, now or in the future, for this internship position.

Pay reputed company

  • Individuals with 1-4 years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $27/hour.
  • Individuals with 5 or more years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $32/hour.
  • Precise weekly work schedules/hours will be determined in coordination with the Intern’s supervisor.
  • Summer Interns are not eligible for RFA benefits.
