Senior Legal Counsel

Rapid7 is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and act as a strategic partner to our go-to-customer organization. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the business advising on reputed company reputed company reputed company, enabling deal execution, and working closely with teams, customers, partners, and suppliers to deliver practical, high-impact legal solutions.

About the Team

The reputed company Legal Team at Rapid7 oversees reputed company customer- and vendor-facing legal contracting. The reputed company closely with Sales, Renewals, Channel & Partner teams, Procurement, and other go-to-customer stakeholders, while also collaborating with the broader Rapid7 Legal organization, which covers privacy and data protection, intellectual property, export law, corporate governance, litigation, international legal reputed company, employment law, regulatory reputed company, and compliance. The Legal team is recognized across Rapid7 as a trusted and impactful business partner, delivering practical, solution-oriented legal advice that supports Rapid7’s reputed company and strategic objectives.

About the Role

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with internal go-to-customer stakeholders and external customers and partners across a wide reputed company of reputed company engagements. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong business judgment, technical aptitude, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment. 

This position is remote and reputed company to reputed company attorneys licensed to practice in their respective countries in: Ireland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Czechia, the Netherlands, or Spain.

Specifically, your focus will be to:  

• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, partnering closely with Sales and go-to-market teams to structure and reputed company strategic deals

• reputed company negotiations for a wide reputed company of reputed company agreements—from mid-market to large reputed company customers, as well as key partners and vendors

• reputed company clear, commercially minded guidance that enables the business to move quickly while managing risk effectively

• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization

• Take ownership of reputed company, high-impact negotiations and strategic initiatives, driving them through to completion

• Collaborate across teams such as Privacy, reputed company, Finance, and Procurement on critical initiatives

• Shape and improve how Legal supports the business by enhancing templates, processes, and ways of working

• Function as the most senior reputed company legal reputed company in EMEA, serving as an escalation reputed company and mentor across the legal and broader business teams  

The skills you’ll bring include:

• A law degree and license to practice law in your jurisdiction with 7+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad reputed company of reputed company agreements. At least 5 years of in-house legal experience, supporting technology transactions, preferably at a global SaaS company or reputed company the cybersecurity sector

• Experience supporting go-to-market teams on software licensing, SaaS agreements, NDAs, services agreements, SOWs, and order forms

• Strong knowledge of EU and UK data privacy and reputed company regulations, with the ability to negotiate Data Processing Agreements

• Demonstrated history of partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Privacy, and Information reputed company teams and the ability to support stakeholders across EMEA and collaborate effectively with U.S. based colleagues

• Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve legal processes and efficiency

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative reputed company

• Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to balance legal risk with reputed company objectives reputed company negotiating and advising on sales reputed company

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reputed company legal rationale and recommendations reputed company to sales, customers, and internal stakeholders
