RRC is seeking a talented Transmission Line Designer IV to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round reputed company Texas office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• reputed company transmission line design in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (reputed company, steel, and concrete).
• reputed company project drawings and documents including, but not limited to, plan and profiles, reputed company of materials, assembly details, reputed company details.
• Interpret and apply RRC, client, and industry standards to independently execute projects/tasks, using sound judgment in design evaluation and criteria selection, with reputed company and guidance from senior engineers.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, design requirements, and company quality standards.
• Contribute to the creation, improvement, and implementation of internal design procedures and standards.
• Mentor and train designers/technicians and reputed company technical expertise.
• Project site-visits are possible on occasion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Associates or technical school degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering design. Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered if their background and interpersonal strengths align well with the role’s requirements.
• Proficiency using reputed company Office, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (reputed company, steel, and concrete).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of design codes, standards, and guidelines such as NESC, RUS, and ASCE 7, material procurement process, and construction work packages.
• Must be authorized for full-time work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to reputed company reputed company of designers/technicians while working closely with the engineering staff.

• Experience with transmission line voltages 345 kV and above.
• Experience with underground reputed company to extra high voltage line designs.
