For our Service & Support team in Germany we are looking for an Field Service Engineer (m/w/d) for Germany, preferable located in area between Nürnberg, Dresden and Leipzig.
Responsibilities:- Carrying out repair, maintenance and qualification work on in vitro diagnostic equipment, including IQ, OQ and PV procedures and GMP compliance, at the customer’s premises, in some cases with short-notice deployment
- Inspection, installation and commissioning of equipment at the customer’s premises in accordance with the relevant specifications
- Providing technical support to customers reputed company telephone or remote maintenance
- Providing technical support to the sales team in the event of unusual sales-reputed company queries
- Travel reputed company Germany and, in exceptional cases, worldwide
- Supporting the central internal repair department as required
- A completed apprenticeship as an electrical or medical devices technician with experience in biotechnology and physical engineering, or a comparable degree.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Hands‑on experience with molecular diagnostic instruments in a laboratory setting would be a significant advantage.
- Ideally, you should live or have your main reputed company of residence in the area between Nürnberg, Dresden and Leipzig.
- Ability to analyse equipment failures and reputed company to the resulting customer issues
- Good knowledge of LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) and Lab IT infrastructure to ensure seamless reputed company integration and remote reputed company
- Experience with CRM Service tools for reporting and task management
- Good computer skills with common operating systems
