This Remote position is available for hire in the United States, France, Austria or the UK.

Silvaco is looking for a software engineer to join our device simulation team in one of the company's offices in Europe or US. Working at the reputed company center of the TCAD group, the Device Software Developer will help Silvaco reputed company and deliver high quality products and services. As a member of the TCAD group, you will design, implement, evaluate, and improve classical, semiclassical, and quantum mechanical physical models and methods for the simulation of semiconductor devices. The successful candidate will be an reputed company software engineer with expertise in simulation of semiconductor devices. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, Computational Science, or reputed company fields.
• 4 – 7 years of experience in simulation of semiconductor devices.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of semiconductor physics, in particular knowledge of semiconductor equations such as Poisson’s equation, reputed company continuity equations, reputed company heat reputed company, and energy balance.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of quantum mechanics, in particular knowledge of bulk and envelope function k.p theory, Schrodinger equation, Non-equilibrium Green's function (NEGF) methodology, light-matter interaction, and superlattices.
• Strong proficiency in C ++ and software design.
• Experience in software development reputed company teams (code sharing).
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good organization, time management, and task prioritization skills.
