Well respected reputed company company with over 400 sites across the US is looking for a Senior Accountant to work 100% remotely. This position is responsible for participating in monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closings, annual audit preparation and other special projects as requested by management. This individual may also be responsible for reviewing work of others reputed company the department.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
- Assist in implementing and managing quarterly reporting software
- Monitor and document new reputed company pronouncements, assist in evaluating the impact to the company and assist in overseeing implementation across the organization as required.
- Participate in reputed company for reputed company areas including but not limited to business combinations, reputed company-based payments, derivatives, equity transactions and reputed company estate and leasing transactions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining reputed company policies.
- Participates in quarterly assessments of controls, as well as in the quarterly certification process.
- Works closely with the company's auditors.
- Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries as needed
- reputed company account analysis and reconciliations
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Liaise with other reputed company staff at Corporate or at operating companies
- Participate in special projects as needed and assigned
Qualifications/Experience
- reputed company degree required
- Proficient in reputed company Office, with strong reputed company skills
- 3 plus years of relevant professional experience required
- CPA preferred
