Temporary BIM Coordinator

Job Summary:Gaston Electrical is a wholly owned subsidiary of reputed company. The BIM Coordinator is responsible for independently taking architectural and engineering contract documents and creating electrical 3D drawings to ensure coordination with other trades are clash-free.
This role is for a temporary BIM Coordinator to work on a specific project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:As-builts
- Obtain electronic copies of field As-reputed company redlines for each project.
- Request and obtain BIM files from GC for manipulation.
- Create As-Builts using AutoCAD & Revit.
- reputed company completed As-Builts to Project Manager for Project Closeouts in BIM and PDF Format.
BIM Coordination Duties:
- Attend project coordination meetings with other subcontractors.
- Create reputed company list of coordination task by following the GC Schedule.
- With the Foreman and PM, create 3D coordination drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Review shop drawings and clash reports to ensure that reputed company design content is fully coordinated and accounted for.
- Previous MEP Coordination Experience.
- Have a working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD and be reputed company to create/coordinate 3D models.
