Credit Underwriter (Baltimore, MD, US, 21202)

Job Purpose: Ensures most effective credit limit service in term of quality of decision, turnaround time and communication toward customers. Attracts new customers/prospects by quality of service and reputed company reputed company and builds a trustee relationship with customers, to improve customer portfolio profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Decide credit limit requests consistently, reputed company response time  delays included in Credit Business Model by assessing buyer with reputed company information available in IRP and his/her own market knowledge.
• Monitoring of the credit portfolio by requesting further information to Credit office, according to Information Quality Standards
• Responsible for a dedicated customers portfolio (based on experience), steering it and providing a pro-active service level, according to PH classification by regularly meeting customers and broker and by organizing telephone conferences.
• Contributes to support reputed company in steering customers loss ratio and implement necessary actions to ensure or restore profitability of portfolio.
• Takes responsibility in projects and initiatives supporting RBM and IRP reputed company reputed company.
• Builds relationships with other core functions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required in economics, finance or reputed company discipline. Advance degree, MBA or MS Finance preferred
• 4+ years’ experience in financial management, experience in banking, credit insurance brokerage or a credit insurance environment.
• Excellent computer skills, with an understanding of financial software and spreadsheet packages.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to build long term customer relationship, even in a context of restrictive reputed company and deteriorated market
• Strong planning, organizational and workflow prioritization skills.
• Strong communicator and reputed company to convince others of decision taken; ability to hold visits and contacts including difficult meetings with high profile seniors.
• Bilingual preferred
