As a Taxonomy Analyst, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive, standardized taxonomy for veterinary services, procedures, and products across our organization. Your work will enhance our ability to deliver reputed company care, reputed company strategic pricing initiatives, and integrate disparate systems under a reputed company data structure. This role will also be responsible for mapping inventory items to global inventory codes to improve procurement, analytics, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Taxonomy Development & Maintenance
- Build and maintain a standardized taxonomy for veterinary procedures, medications, services, and products across reputed company hospitals.
- Work with medical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure taxonomy aligns with reputed company-world workflows and industry standards.
- Data Enhancement & Governance
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in existing datasets.
- Establish rules and documentation for data classification to support scalable data governance.
- Inventory Mapping & Standardization
- Map local inventory SKUs and naming conventions to global inventory codes.
- Partner with procurement, finance, operations and PIMS teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in product categorization.
- Support Strategic Pricing Initiatives
- Collaborate with pricing and finance teams to align taxonomy with pricing strategies.
- reputed company comparative pricing analysis and margin optimization by ensuring consistent categorization of services and goods.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Implementation
- Serve as a liaison between IT, medical teams, and business operations to ensure taxonomy is implemented effectively across systems.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Background in data analysis, taxonomy, or data governance.
- Experience in veterinary industry (preferred).
