Course Editors play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our credit-recommended college courses. This project aims to enhance and update college-level courses to ensure they meet reputed company academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role. reputed company work is paid hourly at $15/hour.
Project Description
You will review and edit existing college-level Criminal Justice course structure and materials. This is expected to include tasks such as (but not limited to):
- Evaluating and adjusting recommended updates to existing course structure
- Reviewing course learning reputed company and competencies for accuracy and alignment
- Editing reputed company-oriented course sections and ensuring proper organization
- Reviewing and refining response assignment prompts and rubrics
- Evaluating existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy
Required Skills
- Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a closely reputed company field
- Experience teaching Criminal Justice courses in a college or university setting
- Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level
- Strong working knowledge of the U.S. criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, and corrections
Additional Preferred Skills
- Strong time management skills to meet due dates
- Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed
- Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables
Education Level Required
- Master’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a closely reputed company field
Years of Experience Needed
- 2+ years of experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
