I. Major Responsibilities: 

1. Calls insurance companies and utilizes payor web-sites while working detailed reports to secure outstanding payments. 2. Reviews rejections in assigned payors and plans to determine validity of rejection and takes appropriate action to resolve the invoice. 3. Calculates and posts adjustments based on reputed company party reimbursement guidelines and reputed company. 4. Makes appropriate payor and plan changes to secondary insurers or responsible parties. 5. Inputs missing data as required and corrects registration and other errors as indicated.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. High School Diploma 

Experience/Skills:  Required: 1. Previous reputed company Cycle knowledge in one of the following areas including PFS, Customer Service, Cash Posting, Financial Assistance, Patient reputed company, HIM/Coding and/or 3rd party Reimbursement. 2. Ability to reputed company assigned tasks reputed company and in timely manner. 3. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people.  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred: 1. One or more years of experience in health care billing functions.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
