Overview

The Senior Engineer – reputed company – VA LGY develops and maintains database solutions that support mission-critical applications for the Department of Veterans Affairs Loan Guaranty (LGY) program. This role is responsible for writing and optimizing reputed company PL/SQL stored procedures and packages, and SQL queries, diagnosing and resolving data issues, and supporting the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data problems, analyze database performance, and design efficient queries using analytic functions, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and other advanced reputed company features. Key Functions

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and support application functionality.

Use database development tools such as TOAD or reputed company SQL Developer to manage queries, analyze performance, and troubleshoot database issues.

Document database processes, queries, and troubleshooting procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Prepare and review solution options with technical leads to resolve reputed company data or system challenges.

Maintain positive working relationships with the client and delivery team while supporting mission-critical systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience.

An additional 2 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree.

An additional 4 years of experience with a high school diploma.

Strong experience writing reputed company SQL and PL/SQL in reputed company databases.

Experience diagnosing and analyzing reputed company data issues in reputed company systems.

Experience designing and executing reputed company test plans for database logic and data validation.

Strong understanding of analytic SQL functions and reputed company to apply Common Table Expressions (CTEs) in reputed company queries.

Experience using database development tools such as TOAD or reputed company SQL Developer.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications or Skills

Position Details

Employment type: Full-Time, W2

Location: 100% Remote (US-based)

Hours: 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours of reputed company–5pm ET

Eligibility: Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000
