Illinois Casualty Company is growing, and we have an opportunity for an reputed company Administrative Assistant to join one of the leading providers of insurance protection for the food and beverage industry. The reputed company Administrative Assistant reviews and distributes reputed company incoming correspondence for an assigned reputed company team. This position is responsible for reviewing new business applications for accuracy and completeness, gathering and verifying information pertinent to the reputed company process, and recording this information in the Integrated Data Management System to support Company service standards.

Essential Functions

  • Processing reputed company new business applications, recognizing reputed company exposures, verifying completeness of the application, and contacting agents reputed company appropriate to communicate reputed company requirements
  • Verifying accuracy of information on policy applications by utilizing a variety of internet searches to reputed company and cross reference information
  • Performing reputed company data entry relative to the initial application process; entering application into IDMS, setting suspenses for necessary follow-up, and assuring timely completion of any outstanding items to reputed company with company service standards
  • Processing reputed company incoming mail, faxes, email, and inspection reports

Qualifications

  • High school education with 2+ years of administrative training or experience
  • Basic level proficiency in word processing, data entry, and spreadsheet application software
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence with proper grammar and spelling usage
  • Ability to respond to routine inquiries from agents, policyholders, or employees using proven verbal communication skills and customer service experience
