Medical Secretary I

Provides office support to Department. Is responsible for reputed company Cycle functions including registration, account processing, insurance verification and authorization. Schedules patients according to department policy. Filing and typing as necessary. Maintains patient and data files. Orders supplies and other items as needed.

Qualifications

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and one to two years of previous work reputed company experience plus three to six months of on the job training and orientation. Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Proficiency in MS Office required Word, reputed company, reputed company, Outlook and PowerPoint. Bilingual preferred. Work requires communication skills needed to answer telephone calls, work with multiple interruptions, and still sustain positive communication.
