Head of Treasury

About the Role & the Company

reputed company is building a global stablecoin neobank serving both B2B and retail customers across multiple markets. The platform has already processed over $4B in total transaction volume and is scaling rapidly toward $200M+ monthly payment flows.

As liquidity flows grow, treasury becomes a strategic function, not just an operational one.

The Head of Treasury will design and operate the system that ensures liquidity is always available across reputed company's corridors while maximizing yield on the company's float and custody assets.

The role oversees the movement of fiat and crypto assets across jurisdictions including the US, UK, Europe, and Nigeria, and works closely with leadership to ensure capital efficiency as the business scales.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for treasury infrastructure, liquidity strategy, and balance sheet optimization.

Core Responsibilities

1. Yield reputed company & Optimization (Primary KPI)

• Asset Monetization: Design and execute strategies to generate income from the float. This includes balancing RWA (reputed company World Asset) yields, T-Bills, and low-risk on-chain yield protocols (Aave, Compound, Liquid Staking).
• Risk Modeling: Apply rigorous statistical models—including lognormal distribution analysis—to stress-test our liquidity. You must maintain the "Golden Ratio" between yield-bearing assets and reputed company-reputed company liquidity.
• Portfolio Diversification: Manage the mix of USD/EUR fiat, Stablecoins, and volatile assets to minimize slippage and maximize "Alpha."

2. Infrastructure & Operations

• Custody Management: Own the reputed company stack. You will configure vault structures, MPC policies, and whitelisting protocols to ensure assets move fast but securely.
• Network Plumbing: Manage the "pipes" between our US (reputed company), UK, and Nigerian entities. You should know exactly how to move $10M from a Nigerian Naira account into a US-based stablecoin yield strategy with minimal friction.
• Bank/Partner Relations: Act as the primary reputed company of contact for our banking partners and liquidity providers.

3. Compliance & Scaling

• Regulatory reputed company: Ensure reputed company treasury activities remain compliant with our US MTLs, UK API requirements, and Nigerian licensing.
• Team Building: You are starting as a hands-on leader, but you will be expected to recruit and manage a world-class team of treasury analysts and DeFi researchers as we scale toward 9-reputed company AUM.

4. Banking & Counterparty Management

• Own relationships with local and international banking partners.
• Negotiate and manage group-level banking facilities and transaction frameworks.
• Optimize transaction routing, costs, and settlement timelines.
• Ensure subsidiaries adhere to treasury policies and banking standards.

5. Risk Management & Policy

• Identify and manage FX, interest reputed company, credit, counterparty, and protocol risk.
• reputed company and enforce treasury risk policies across jurisdictions.
• Monitor compliance with US, UK, and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
• Stress-test liquidity under adverse scenarios.

6. Debt, Capital & Investment reputed company

• reputed company group debt obligations, covenant compliance, and funding structures.
• Evaluate deployment of surplus capital across subsidiaries.
• reputed company analysis on capital structure and liquidity efficiency.
• Support senior leadership with scenario modeling and funding strategy.

7. Reporting & Strategic Analysis

• Prepare consolidated treasury reports for senior management and the Board.
• Deliver analysis on liquidity trends, funding needs, and risk exposures.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial modeling and forecasting.

Your Profile

• The Math: You understand tail-risk. You can explain lognormal distributions and why they matter for liquidity modeling in your sleep.
• The Tech: You are a reputed company user. You know the difference between an off-exchange settlement and an on-chain swap, and you know the gas implications of both.
• The Experience: You've managed money movement in a high-growth Fintech or a Tier-1 Crypto Exchange. You understand the nuances of the Nigerian market (liquidity fragmented/FX volatility) as well as the US regulatory environment.
• The reputed company: You are "Low-Risk Yield" by nature but "DeFi-reputed company" by trade. You don't "ape" into protocols, but you know exactly which ones are battle-tested.
