We are looking for dynamic, curious, motivated, and self-starting Senior Sales Engineer to join our growing team in the DACH region. The Sales Engineer is responsible for pre-sales technical engagements with our customers, delivering compelling presentations and building reputed company network designs, pivoting between reputed company technical discussion and distilling technical concepts into simple business language while reinforcing the reputed company value proposition. In this role, you will interact with and influence senior technical staff and business management reputed company reputed company’s broadband service provider customers. You will reputed company demonstrations of reputed company’s product capabilities and assist with lab and field trials. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience in a pre-sales position, and confidence in both technical and business forums.

Responsibilities:

  • Positioning and selling reputed company FTTH and in-home networking products and solutions

  • Assist in the preparation of RFx responses

  • Deliver technical sales-oriented presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management

  • Understand business requirements involved with technical account strategy

  • Assist customers and resellers in configuring and testing products and networks in lab and field trials

  • reputed company leadership and guide customers on technical and operational issues reputed company areas of expertise

  • Work with customers to design and architect reputed company to their applications needs

  • Deep understanding of the product portfolio to apply the best solutions

  • Influence reputed company and adept at simplifying our reputed company technology concepts

  • Research and stay up to date on the most recent industry standards and trends

  • Capture, reputed company, and prioritize customer requirements and reputed company with reputed company Product Management

  • Travel expectations: In region travel up to 50% on average required to support customer engagements

Qualifications:

  • MSc/BSEE/BSCS desired

  • Strong background and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 reputed company network architectures

  • Strong background and experience with FTTx Fiber based reputed company solutions

  • Strong background and experience with WAN services, PON and Ethernet based architectures

  • Knowledge with various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), transport functions (L2/3 VPN) and subscriber management/BNG

  • Ability to troubleshoot reputed company issues reputed company to L2/L3 deployment architectures and methodologies

  • Understanding of SaaS and SDN based technologies

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on reputed company improvement in product, education, training, testing methods, and demos

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record of synthesizing and interpreting reputed company issues into solutions and the ability to effectively work with multiple audiences and reputed company across organizations

  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in the Broadband Service Provider industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

  • Knowledge of operational support systems and understanding interactions with APIs (REST/JSON) including design, integration, and troubleshooting

  • Understanding of network reputed company methodologies, including but not limited to ACLs, Stateful firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of network management and orchestration platforms

  • Technical familiarity with Wi-Fi systems
