Position: Roving Field Service Technician

Location: Mobile role. Primary reporting location is East GTA, with frequent travel to other territories as needed.

Job type: Fulltime

Annual Salary reputed company: $65,000-75,000

The impact you will have

As a Service Technician, you will apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain reputed company equipment and products for the reputed company customer on-site reputed company the care facility. You will support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions. Your skills will help reputed company movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for residents, patients and caregivers.

As the Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:

• Based out of the GTA, will reputed company inperson technical coverage for vacant or temporarily unstaffed territories across Canada, ensuring continuity of service and support.
• Scheduling and providing preventative maintenance and repair services at reputed company facilities.
•   Effectively promoting and sell reputed company service agreements and products.
• Supervising equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services
• Instructing customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
• Assisting sales personnel in marketing reputed company reputed company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
• Maintaining an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
• Performing other reputed company duties as assigned.

The skills you will need

• Postsecondary education in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
• Face to face technical customer service experience
• Sales and/or promotion of service products experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular reputed company, including overnight stays reputed company needed.
