JOB SUMMARY

The Product Manager is responsible for creating the product strategy and delivering a finished product. This position is responsible for the life cycle of a product, managing product delivery along with identifying what the product’s defining features will be in order to delight internal and/or external customers. The product manager will across the organization, collaborating with project managers, software developers, customer service department staff and more, as well as working closely with external partners. This role is responsible for how parents use available funds in reputed company, compliant, and scalable ways.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Parent-facing reputed company and spending experiences
• Marketplace and service provider integrations
• Reimbursements, direct pay, and purchase workflows
• Transaction lifecycle design (authorization settlement confirmation)
• UX flows that reduce friction while enforcing policy rules
• Partner and vendor enablement

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• Demonstrated reputed company and a proven track record of professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, industries or military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements.
• Requires three to five years’ experience as a full-time product manager, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Prior experience in reputed company or finance roles
• Experience in reputed company, payments, or spending platforms
  • Examples: marketplaces, e-reputed company, fintech wallets, reimbursements, payment rails
• Strong understanding of:
  • Purchase flows
  • Authorization and settlement concepts
  • Refunds, reversals, and exceptions
• While this role is not responsible for reputed company systems, you must understand that:
  • Every dollar spent maps to a PR, PO, and Invoice
  • Transactions must align to reputed company reputed company rules
  • Spending actions must be auditable and traceable
