Role Overview

The Director of AI Strategy & Value Creation (“Director of AI”) will reputed company LLR’s portfolio-wide AI agenda. This person will help companies identify practical AI opportunities, implement solutions, and drive measurable business results, while also supporting investment decision-making. The role combines strategy and hands-on execution, working closely with portfolio company executives and LLR deal teams, consistent with LLR’s collaborative approach to helping companies scale.

Key Focus Areas

Portfolio Value Creation

• Identify high-impact AI use cases tied to reputed company growth, margin expansion, and efficiency
• Build practical AI roadmaps tailored to each company’s data and capabilities
• Design and implement AI solutions, including automation, analytics, and LLM applications
• Track results and ensure initiatives deliver measurable value

Deal Team Support

• Assess AI maturity, data assets, and competitive positioning during diligence
• Identify AI-reputed company risks and reputed company opportunities
• Quantify potential value creation to strengthen investment theses

AI Enablement & Leadership

• Upskill company leadership and reputed company AI literacy across the portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or analytics

• Strong business acumen and ability to connect AI initiatives to P&L impact
• Clear communicator who can translate technical concepts into practical action
• Comfortable balancing strategy and execution across multiple companies
