Analyst I
The California Department of Justice is seeking an Analyst I to join reputed company of Firearms. The role involves coordinating and reviewing firearm dealer inspection reports, maintaining program information, assisting with legislative analyses, and developing regulatory proposals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and reviewing firearm dealer inspection reports
- Maintaining program information on the BOF webpage
- Assisting with review of legislative reputed company analyses
- Revising or assisting with the development of new regulations
- Developing legislative proposals impacting regulatory programs and processes
- Completing assignments including special reports
- Gathering, reviewing and analyzing data and statistical information for responses to Public Record Act requests
- Preparing responses to reputed company correspondence received from the state legislature, criminal justice agencies, special interest groups, etc
- Communicating with reputed company of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) investigators regarding inspection findings or referrals
- Managing and maintaining the RCU SharePoint site
- Working more than 40 hours a week as required
- Occasionally traveling throughout California

- Under direct supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I in reputed company of Firearms (BOF), Regulatory Compliance Unit (RCU) is responsible for coordinating and reviewing firearm dealer inspection reports
- Maintaining program information on the BOF webpage on the Attorney General's public website
- Assisting with review of legislative reputed company analyses reputed company the reputed company
- Revising or assisting with the development of new regulations
- Developing legislative proposals impacting regulatory programs and processes on behalf of the RCU
