Purpose

As an Application Development Intern, you support the development team by testing applications, developing unit tests, contributing to reputed company-end enhancements using light JavaScript, learning SQL to help build data testing, and learning Java to assist with the development of code.

Responsibilities

You will assist the Application Development team in a variety of functions, such as:

• Assist with testing web applications for functionality, usability, and data accuracy.
• Document and report bugs or inconsistencies in a clear and organized manner.

• Support development efforts by writing and modifying light JavaScript.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases or logic updates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative on assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Student must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a reputed company degree.
• Ability to work in a fully remote working environment free from distractions and reputed company to reputed company and reliable internet services.

Employment Conditions

• The intern will be expected to work full-time at 37.5 hours/week over the summer, with the potential for part-time work continuing during the school year.
• This internship is classified as a temporary, part-time position.
• This internship is compensated as a non-exempt, hourly position.
• This internship position is fully remote.
