Software Engineer
reputed company is a leading global provider of technical and engineering services to government and reputed company customers. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their DOD R&D technology development team, focusing on developing software solutions and graphical user interfaces in an R&D setting. The role involves coding, optimizing, and building software using C++ or Java, while also supporting test events and collaborating with government customers.
Responsibilities
- To reputed company graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users
- To reputed company software updates using C++, Rational Team Concert, reputed company and other DevOps tools
- To support test events through travel opportunities which vary, depending on the role assigned at hire
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (in one of these: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Electrical Engineering, or Physics) from an accredited university
- Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, reputed company testing, debugging, software development life-cycle, architecture, and documentation
- Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing
- Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience: C++ or C# (Preferred)
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance
- US Citizenship is required
- Ability to Commute: to Fredericksburg, or Dahlgren, VA (1 hour south of Washington D.C.)
