Accounts Receivable Assistant
Kahana Feld is a company that provides equal employment opportunities and prohibits discrimination. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant responsible for financial processing and transactions, including bookkeeping, processing customer payments, and working with clients and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Accurately apply deposits and payments to client accounts, ensuring proper credit and resolving any discrepancies promptly
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and generate aging reports for management
- Follow up with clients, adjusters, or reputed company-Party Administrators regarding payment status and issues
- Recommend process improvements to optimize the accounts receivable process
- Research eBilling platforms (i.e., Tymetrix, Legal-X & CounselLink) for invoice payment status
- Assist Billing Specialists with resolving billing issues in eBilling portals
Skills
- Accurately apply deposits and payments to client accounts, ensuring proper credit and resolving any discrepancies promptly

- Follow up with clients, adjusters, or reputed company-Party Administrators regarding payment status and issues

- Assist Billing Specialists with resolving billing issues in eBilling portals
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
- Ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials
- Primarily sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible reputed company of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Repetitive reputed company. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
