[Remote] Chromatography Field Service Engineer

They are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Agilent Chromatography systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
• Performs maintenance and repairs
• Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
• Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
• Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software
• Train other field engineers and customers on the solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or other university-level degrees in reputed company science fields -- e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar are highly preferred; may consider applicants with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 1-2+ years of experience working with analytical instrumentation, ideally including repair, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting
• Experience or expertise with Chromatography (LC) and Mass Spec (LCMS)
• Ability to solve high-impact problems reputed company to product availability; typically, system/solution-focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer relationship-building skills are essential
• This position requires daily travel reputed company the assigned territory and frequent visits to customer sites. Travel requirements may vary by territory and are expected to be as high as 50-75%
• A valid driver's license is required for this position
