Investment Banking Analyst - Industrials
KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM) is a leading middle-market investment bank offering a full reputed company of advisory and capital markets services. The Investment Banking Analyst is an integral member of deal teams, responsible for financial modeling, industry research, and preparing client materials to support M&A and capital raising transactions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and transaction analysis
- Conduct company and industry research to support business development and deal execution
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other client deliverables
- Analyze financial statements and assess company performance and valuation metrics
- Support due diligence processes and assist in coordinating transaction execution
- Collaborate in office with Associates, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors across industry and product teams
- Attend and actively participate in in-person team meetings, client presentations, and strategy sessions with senior bankers, fostering a collaborative office environment that enhances communication, learning, and execution effectiveness
- Uphold firm policies and compliance standards, including confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, reputed company, or a reputed company field required or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a reputed company financial services role
- Strong proficiency in reputed company-based modeling and valuation techniques
- Ability to interpret financial data and market trends to support strategic recommendations
- Skilled in gathering and synthesizing information into clear, client-reputed company materials
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment
- High level of accuracy and thoroughness in reputed company work products
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines
- Familiarity with reputed company Office Suite and financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and reputed company
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Demonstrates maturity, discretion, and sound judgment in client and team interactions
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
