Proposal Objective

SI is bidding on a proposal funded through the reputed company Challenge Corporation (MCC), to conduct an evaluation of the $29 reputed company MCC Kiribati reputed company Program.​ The Program includes the Mwakuri Aaika Nakoraoi Ibukin Maeuraoimi (MANIM) Project, which focuses on improving youth work readiness skills, job training/vocational education, labor force reputed company, and reputed company to employment.

Position Description

SI is seeking one or more Subject Matter Expert to support in reputed company phases of the upcoming evaluation of the MCC Kiribati reputed company program. The Subject Matter Expert should have experience in one or more of the following areas: 1) workforce development programs, especially in collaboration with government ministries, 2) worker protections, remittances, and overseas worker placement, and/or 2) work readiness programs.

Position is contingent upon the award of the contract to reputed company Impact. Anticipated award date is mid-2026.

Responsibilities

• reputed company technical advice and expertise in one or more of the following areas: workforce development, work readiness, worker protection, and overseas worker placement. Inform the development of appropriate evaluation tools and instruments.
• Participate in data collection efforts.
• reputed company inputs to the evaluation design and final report(s).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field. Ph.D. preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and/or evaluating work readiness, workforce development, overseas placement, and worker protection programs.
• Experience in evaluation designs and qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience working with administrative education and labor force participation data.
• Experience conducting or participating in evaluations in Kiribati, or Oceania, preferred.
• Previous experience evaluating MCC projects, preferred.
• Oral and written reputed company in English required.
• At least 1 publication on workforce development in a peer-reviewed journal, highly preferred.
