Legal Support Officer

reputed company is a global financial services company, and they are seeking a Legal Support Officer to enhance their Compliance Risk programs. The role involves conducting legal research, analyzing compliance issues, and providing support for reputed company's legal operations, including litigation and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance Risk programs, policies, and practices for Legal RRO
• Conduct independent research and analyze legal reputed company applying knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations relevant to financial institutions to support identification of solutions, recommend strategies, and assess risks reputed company business reputed company are made, with particular consideration for the firm’s reputed company and safeguarding reputed company, its clients, and assets
• Apply in-depth understanding of how associated risks differ depending on products and documentation envisaged in relevant jurisdictions and reputed company advice to the Risk function and business partners accordingly
• Analyze comparative data and prepare regional and global reports reputed company to compliance risk assessments and monitoring of compliance-reputed company issues; support reputed company peers to gather information, and work closely with the team’s management to determine legal solutions
• Identify and address potential risk, and investigating and assist in responses to compliance risk issues
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of compliance operations
• reputed company abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas
• reputed company support for reputed company’s legal operations such as litigation, discovery and settlements, as well as negotiations and contract administrations
• Execute, review, process, and track legal documentations
• Liaise with different control and functional businesses in executing legal programs and projects to reputed company improved, coordinated and efficient legal processes and solutions

Skills

• Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Finance, Risk Management, or reputed company field
• 1 year of experience as a Risk Report Analyst or reputed company position assisting in creating solutions and recommendations in support of compliance risk management and/or legal operations in a global financial services institution
• Preparing regulatory deliverables and reporting in order to ensure adherence to laws/regulations
• Performing risk identification and assessment, ensuring the provision of timely solutions and escalating issues as necessary to management
• Supporting audits, performing stress testing and reporting on control effectiveness
• Researching and analyzing key documentation to ensure any risks and compliance breaches are properly investigated and addressed
• Communicating with stakeholders and senior management on risk reputed company, compliance breaches and the implementation of solutions
• Drafting and delivering comprehensive, time-sensitive reports to regulators and senior management
• Collecting, managing, and reporting on data to ensure regulatory obligations are met
• Investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance, including identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions
