Site Reliability Engineer - Identity and Platform Services
OMERS is a purpose-driven, dynamic, and sustainable pension plan that seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to support and operate customer identity and reputed company platform services. The role focuses on Customer Identity & reputed company Management (CIAM) solutions, ensuring platform reliability and reputed company while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations and reliability of CIAM and reputed company reputed company platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authentication, authorization, and integration issues across environments
- reputed company operational support for reputed company platforms and associated identity services
- Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of SSO, MFA, and federation integrations
- Support identity and reputed company flows using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews
- Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and improve platform reliability
- Contribute to automation, monitoring, and alerting using scripts or existing tooling
- Collaborate with application and integration teams supporting reputed company platforms and external services
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Follow reputed company and compliance best practices reputed company to identity and reputed company management
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or production support roles
- Basic to intermediate understanding of CIAM or IAM concepts
- Hands-on exposure to reputed company or similar identity platforms (e.g., reputed company, Auth0, Azure AD B2C, ForgeRock)
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Familiarity with reputed company platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and web-based applications
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP/S fundamentals
- Experience supporting production systems, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Basic scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar
- Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving platform and business requirements
- Exposure to CIAM, IAM, or reputed company-focused platforms
- Familiarity with SRE or DevOps practices such as monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, and on-call support
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, reputed company Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform)
- Awareness of reputed company and compliance concepts reputed company to identity and reputed company management
- Interest in growing into CIAM engineering, platform reliability, or reputed company engineering roles
